I think we can all agree that the LBD is timeless yes? But to me long sunny summer days are just begging for a crisp white dress.  There’s just something about buying a brand new sparkling white frock (I feel the same way about new white tees/tanks/etc) that screams summer.  I actually picked these up in March and couldn’t wait until vacation and the weather got warmer here to wear them.  I love the versatility – dress up or down.  White can be fancy just like black.  White can be casual too.

This dress is from H&M and I absolutely love it!  I bought it early spring so unfortunately I can’t find the link but I’m going to link some other similar dresses below.  H&M has so many great and affordable options for summer!!  This first dress is a crisp white poplin dress with rolled sleeves, a mock collar, button down front, and a high low waist.  Despite it being over-sized, it actually is quite slimming and adorable on.  The length on me fits very nicely right above the knees and I’m almost 5’6″.  I love how light the dress is without sacrificing the opacity.

This second option is lined and has the cutest detailing with the buttons and eyelet embroidery.  It has a collar and is a little shorter than the first.  With the liner its a little thicker than the first, but still a nice summer weight.
