Holiday Outfit Ideas – 2018

The holidays are coming fast – it seems to happen faster and faster each year.  The kids go back to school, all the school year craziness begins again and then BAM! – it’s Christmas!  Don’t get me wrong – I love the holidays – seeing family and friends you haven’t seen in ages, parties, and any excuse to dress up make it all worth it.  So, I’m here to help take some of that stress away with some of my favorite holiday outfit ideas for the season!  Express has always been my go-to for dressy events or work and once again they did not disappoint.  These gorgeous outfits will take you through the holiday season effortlessly and chic-ly.  Enjoy!

  1.  The Sweater Dress
    • When its cold but I want to be dressy – enter the sweater dress!  This is the perfect solution that’s comfortable and warm enough to wear this time of year.  Throw on some tights and booties for even more warmth while looking totally chic.  I love the cross-front cutout which adds a cute detail.

  2. The silk cami and blazer with leather leggings
    • I saw this cami and was obsessed with the color.  Its not your traditional green or red, but gold compliments those colors perfectly.  Plus it looks really pretty on!  Add some sparkly jewels and you’ll be looking festive in no time.  This look is great for desk to dinner or a work holiday party.

  3. The velvet jumpsuit
    • Velvet is all the rage this season and you can find it in everything from skirts, to shirts and jumpsuits.  Its sooo comfortable to wear and looks luxurious.  I was super excited when I found this jumpsuit.  Wear with a little sweater for a more conservative (and warmer) look, or without for New Year’s Eve fun.  Throw on a cute and sparkly belt to add some detail on the waist or a statement necklace.
